The next Group Shoot will take place May 8 at the San Diego Zoo.

The Zoo opens at 9:00 AM.  We will meet on the front plaza outside the zoo at 8:30 AM and the group photo will be taken at 8:45 AM. 

Admission to the zoo for non-members is $37 for adults and $27 for children ages 3-11.  Children under age 3 are free. A Complimentary1-Day Pass at the Zoo is available for U.S. military personnel if the individual can show a valid, active military identification card.  This offer does not apply to Reserve, National Guard, Military Retirees, DOD Employees or Contractors or military dependents. 

Among the tours offered at the zoo is an “unpublished” Comedy Bus Tour.  This takes place at 11:00 Am on Saturdays and requires a regular bus ticket.  The tour is a little longer than the regular bus tour, taking about an hour.  Any bus tour also includes use of the Express bus for the entire day. 

The weekend of May 7-9 is the zoo’s annual Garden Festival.  There is a free Botanical Bus Tour, a self-guided walking garden tour and the Orchid House will be open.  Note that tripods ARE NOT permitted in the Orchid House due to the extremely narrow walkways. 

Lunch will be at Sabertooth Grill in the new Elephant Odyssey exhibit; time to be determined.
